About Us

The Foundation Phase teachers have a special gift of teaching young minds. They have been blessed with an abundance of energy and plenty of patience.
We aim to instil in our learners good values and responsible behaviour.
We aim to be a bully-free school.
We focus on curriculum and learning. We do not give away teaching time easily. We build on gross motor skills first and then focus on fine motor.
Every Foundation Phase teacher works hard in laying a solid foundation for reading and Mathematics. This Phase cannot be underestimated as the tone is set for the child’s schooling career.
Parental involvement is crucial at this stage and our teachers strongly rely on consolidating skills learnt at school at home.

The main focus in this phase is to develop critical thinking and foster the discipline required for long-term learning. Our aim is to upskill and educate every learner. We hope to improve their cognitive understanding as well as their comprehension skills.
We work hard in providing our learners with a safe environment. We pride ourselves on the values we teach our children. We look forward to their contribution to society and the foundation of learning we have given them.

We go beyond the call of duty often and we guide our learners in every facet of their lives.

The School Governing Body play a very important role. Our governors oversee every aspect of the school. We have five parent representatives, two educators and one non-educator as well as the principal serving as duly elected members. We have termly meetings where everything pertaining to school is discussed. SGB members stand for three years. If there is a resignation the place must be filled by having a by-election.
The SGB ensures that the School Development Plan is achieved, and that the School Improvement Plan is evaluated and that we have a solid Vision and Mission statement.
The SGB is responsible for all the financial management, monitoring the budget, ensuring we receive a clean financial audit and that we spend our money wisely. This is no easy task. The School Finance committee meet every month and discuss all purchases and payments.
There are other subcommittees in the SGB like discipline, disposal, maintenance and interview committee. The Interview Committee recommends staff appointments to the Head of Education.

We thank all our past governors, current governors and future governors for their efforts, support and most importantly time to govern and ensure we work towards a highly functional school!

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality education in a safe, value driven,
multi-cultural environment that builds a foundation for lifelong learning.

Our Vision

Seek, believe, achieve and succeed

Our VALUES

Respect:  Diversity, tolerance, equality, self-respect, self-love, cleanliness, communication, confidence, dignity
Responsibility: Commitment, accountability, efficiency, hard work, diligence, service, leadership, courage
Kindness: Sharing, care, courtesy, love, teamwork, understanding, empathy, thoughtfulness, purpose
Honesty: Integrity, loyalty, bravery, forgiveness, consideration

We are excited to announce the launch of one of our school’s core values:
Term one is about Respect. This value will be the foundation of our school culture, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and supported. Respect is the cornerstone of a positive and thriving school community. It will guide how we interact with each other, how we approach learning, and how we contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate world. We encourage the students, staff, and families to embody respect in all their actions and interactions, both inside and outside the classroom.

“Respect is a mirror, the more you show it to other people, the more they will reflect it back. ”
